- Open the file. It ends in
.dmg. - Drag Create Spot into the Applications folder.
- Open Create Spot from Applications.
If your Mac won't open it
The app is new and not yet checked by Apple, so the first time your Mac may refuse to open it.
- Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down. Next to the line about Create Spot, click Open Anyway.
- Type your Mac password if it asks.
Let it find your Home Brain
When Create Spot asks to find devices on your local network, click Allow. Without this, it can't reach your Home Brain.
